Professional Outdoor Monitoring with ColorPro Night Vision

Monitor your property more clearly after dark with the Tapo C325WB Outdoor Security Wi-Fi Camera. Unlike conventional night vision cameras that rely heavily on infrared illumination or bright spotlights, the C325WB uses ColorPro Night Vision with a highly sensitive 1/1.88″ Starlight Sensor, F1.0 super-aperture lens, and advanced image processing to capture natural-looking colour images even in ultra-low-light conditions. Combined with 2K QHD resolution, HDR, smart AI detection, wide 125° field of view, and flexible Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity, the C325WB provides reliable outdoor surveillance for both residential and commercial environments.

ColorPro Night Vision

The standout feature of the Tapo C325WB is its ColorPro Night Vision technology. Using a combination of an F1.0 super-aperture lens, large 1/1.88″ sensor, and TP-Link image optimisation, the camera is able to capture bright, colourful images in environments where conventional cameras may switch to black-and-white infrared footage. This provides more useful visual details at night, such as:

• Clothing colours
• Vehicle colours
• Object colours
• Natural outdoor surroundings
• Facial and environmental details

---

Natural Colours in Ultra-Low Light

Traditional colour night vision often depends on strong built-in spotlights. The Tapo C325WB is designed to capture colour footage in low-light conditions without relying heavily on bright illumination. This helps produce images that look closer to natural daytime colours while maintaining better visibility after dark.

---

Fewer Distracting Lights at Night

Bright floodlights can attract insects, create glare, consume additional power, and disturb neighbours. The C325WB’s ColorPro technology is designed to provide useful colour night vision under very low ambient light conditions, reducing the need for continuously bright spotlights. This can help create a more discreet night-time monitoring setup.

---

Amazingly Detailed 2K QHD Video

The Tapo C325WB records at a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels, providing greater image detail than standard Full HD cameras. When combined with ColorPro Night Vision, the camera can capture clearer and more natural-looking footage during both daytime and night-time monitoring. This is especially useful for viewing:

• People approaching the property
• Vehicles entering driveways
• Activity around gates and entrances
• Movement in gardens and outdoor spaces
• Important objects and events after dark

---

125° Wide Field of View

The Tapo C325WB features a wide viewing angle of:

• 125° diagonal
• 105° horizontal
• 57° vertical

This allows the camera to monitor a broader outdoor area from a single installation point. It is particularly useful for driveways, gardens, entrances, side lanes, and other locations where wider visual coverage is important.

---

Smart Person, Pet & Vehicle Detection

The camera uses on-device machine learning to identify different types of activity. Supported AI detection includes:

• Person Detection
• Pet Detection
• Vehicle Detection

This allows the camera to send more relevant notifications instead of treating every movement as the same type of event.

---

Line-Crossing & Camera Tampering Detection

The Tapo C325WB also supports additional intelligent security functions. Line-Crossing Detection allows you to create a virtual boundary and receive alerts when movement crosses that line. Camera Tampering Detection can help notify you when the camera’s view is deliberately blocked, moved, or interfered with. These features provide additional control for monitoring entrances, boundaries, restricted areas, and access points.

---

Custom Activity Zones

Not every part of your outdoor area needs the same level of monitoring. With customizable activity zones, you can define specific areas where motion detection should focus. For example, you can monitor:

• Front gates
• Driveways
• Doorways
• Garden paths
• Parking spaces
• Restricted areas
• Side entrances

This helps reduce unnecessary notifications from less important parts of the camera view.

---

Two-Way Audio with Noise Cancellation

The built-in microphone and speaker allow real-time communication through the Tapo app. Use two-way audio to:

• Speak with visitors
• Communicate with delivery personnel
• Talk to family members outside
• Warn unwanted visitors
• Respond remotely while away

Noise cancellation helps improve voice clarity during communication.

---

Flexible Wi-Fi & Ethernet Connectivity

The Tapo C325WB supports both wireless and wired network connections. You can connect the camera using:

• 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
• 10/100 Mbps Ethernet

This provides greater installation flexibility depending on network availability and cable access.

---

Dual Power Flexibility with PoE

The C325WB supports two power options:

• 9V DC Power Adapter
• IEEE 802.3af/at PoE

With PoE, a compatible Ethernet cable can provide both network connectivity and power to the camera. This can simplify installation by reducing the need for a separate power cable near the camera.

---

IP66 Weather-Resistant Design

The Tapo C325WB carries an IP66 weather resistance rating, making it suitable for outdoor installations exposed to dust and rain. It is designed to operate in temperatures from approximately -20°C to 45°C, making it suitable for a wide range of outdoor environments.

---

Local Storage up to 512GB

Save footage directly to a compatible microSD card of up to 512GB. Local storage allows recordings to remain on the camera without requiring a cloud storage subscription. microSD card sold separately.

---

Optional Tapo Care Cloud Storage

The Tapo C325WB also supports Tapo Care Cloud Storage Services. Users who prefer cloud-based video storage can subscribe separately to Tapo Care for supported cloud recording and related services. This provides flexibility between:

• Local microSD storage
• Tapo Care cloud storage

depending on your preferred recording setup.

---

RTSP & ONVIF Support

For users who want additional integration options, the Tapo C325WB supports:

• RTSP
• ONVIF

This allows integration with certain compatible third-party surveillance systems, NVR platforms, and viewing software.

---

Smart Home Integration

The Tapo C325WB works with compatible:

• Google Assistant
• Amazon Alexa

This allows the camera to integrate into supported smart home environments and compatible smart displays. Feature availability may vary depending on the connected device, language, and region.
